Old Mission Santa Barbara: A National Landmark

Due to the Old Mission’s varied walking surfaces, portions of the historic property may be inaccessible to some visitors. Much of the tour area is accessible via stone, tile, cement or asphalt-paved walkways and can be reached in a variety of ways, including stair-free options for most tour areas. However, due to the historic nature of the Old Mission, certain walkways may have stairs, and be narrow, rough, uneven or steep.

• The public restrooms located at the front of the Mission are not accessible or ADA compliant. Restrooms for use by visitors in wheelchairs and for family needs can be accessed by inquiring at the Porter’s Office.

• Wheelchairs are not available on site.
