St. Barbara Parish is hosting a FREE three-part workshop devoted to helping adults of all ages understand the importance of Advance Care Planning and to encourage meaningful discussions about the care wanted or not wanted in the event of a serious or life-threatening medical emergency. Developed and taught by parishioner and Hospice of Santa Barbara Community Engagement Manager, Jeanne West, it’s a wonderful opportunity to learn about the considerations for appointing a Health Care Agent and be guided through the process of putting a health care directive in place. On the last day of the workshop, a Notary will be provided FREE of charge for anyone wishing to finalize their documents.
