“The Letter: A Message for Our Earth” Screening

If you missed our screening of “The Letter” earlier this year, join us on November 18 in Bonaventure Hall at the Old Mission as we offer a second screening of this 2022 documentary, which tells the story of the Laudato Si’ encyclical letter by Pope Francis. The 80-minute film features environmental champions from around the world, each representing an unheard voice in conversations on the planetary crisis, including the Indigenous, the young, the poor, and wildlife. We follow their journeys from the Amazon, India, Senegal, and Hawai’i to the Vatican as they meet Pope Francis, who shares his vision in beautifully human interactions. You will leave feeling educated, uplifted and inspired! Following the film there will be discussion and a complimentary light lunch.
